Neal Jackson at the 2022 NC Faith & Freedom Salt & Light Conference

Neal Jackson was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, as the son and grandson of Baptist preachers. Growing up in a pastor’s home, he saw firsthand what life is about, serving people. Neal was taught from an early age that true greatness is not in having servants but in being a servant.

After graduating from College and Graduate School, he started an insurance and financial planning firm which he operated for twelve years, earning numerous awards for sales achievement and leadership. The secret to the success of the firm was its philosophy of exceptional service.

Following the call of God upon his life, he left his financial planning career to serve the Lord by serving people. This calling has led him to successful pastorates in Florida and North Carolina. He has been the pastor of the Beulah Baptist Church in Bennett, North Carolina since 2009. Service has been the heartbeat of Beulah since his arrival which has led them around the world on numerous mission endeavors to serve people.


In 2020, Neal and his wife Tracy founded Grace Haven, a residential group home for children in foster care. Their vision is to raise up 100 families in the community to be foster parents, serving those most in need. Neal and Tracy have five children, a thriving church family.

About the Conference

The Salt & Light 2022 Conference celebrates its 5th year by welcoming prominent leaders from across the nation to declare the TRUTH of God’s Word to educate, equip, and encourage attendees to stand up and become part of the cultural conversation by following the biblical mandate of being Salt & Light. This year’s event drew attendees to Charlotte from across the state and region to Freedom House Church to participate in the largest faith-based policy conservative two-day conference in North Carolina. Using a TED-style format, each speaker is provided 15-to-20 minutes representing the seven mountains of influence (family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business and government).

The Salt & Light Conference is sponsored by NC Faith & Freedom Coalition, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on empowering faithful Christians with the facts necessary to understand which public policies reflect our values, and which ones undermine them. The organization works to inform voters about critical issues relevant to faith-based communities and then equip our attendees with the tools they need to be a force for good in their community.
