BLACKFIN Model X Review (2019 SUP Board)

▶ https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gea... — In this 2019 BLACKFIN SUP Model X review, we'll take an in-depth look at this newly updated all-around iSUP and discuss the board's new features, updated construction, overall reduction in weight, upgraded accessory bundle, how it performs on the water, and more.

The BLACKFIN Model X SUP board was initially introduced last season by iROCKER SUP as part of their new lineup of premium inflatable paddle boards. The Model X is currently the smallest iSUP in iROCKER's BLACKFIN range, measuring 10'6" x 35" x 6" and weighing in at 25 pounds.

Capable of supporting up to 450 pounds of weight, the Model X gives you the ability to bring along small children, a dog, or tons of gear.

The top of the Model X features a very high-quality EVA foam traction pad with the BLACKFIN logo embossed into it. This deck pad is super comfortable on the hands and feet which makes it great for activities like SUP fitness.

Located at the middle of the board is a carrying handle and there are 6 metal D-rings located along both rails which can be used to tie down a SUP cooler, gear, or optional BLACKFIN SUP accessories.

Located at the nose of the board are 6 more D-rings and a large bungee storage area. Integrated into the bungee storage area once again this season are kids' safety handles which is a great feature for families. This season, iROCKER has made the handles removable for paddlers who don't find them useful.

The nose of the board also features a grab handle as well as a brand new Action Mount for attaching accessories such as a GoPro camera, fishing rod holder, wireless Bluetooth speaker, etc.

At the tail of the board is a second bungee cord storage area complete with a second set of childs' safety handles. There's also a nice Halkey-Roberts air valve, rear grab handle, and D-ring for securing the included leash.

On the bottom of the BLACKFIN Model X is a D-ring at the nose for towing the board behind a boat or tethering it to a dock. There are also three removable fins this season which makes this board even more packable than last year's model. This board rolls up into a smaller, more compressed footprint making it easier to pack, store, and transport. Also, if you rack your boards on a roof rack, being able to remove the three fins allows you to stack boards in a neater fashion.

The BLACKFIN Model X also features a carbon fiber rail for added durability and stiffness.

Included with the board is a newly improved wheeled SUP backpack, new Full Throttle dual-chamber triple-action pump, carbon fiber shaft paddle, coiled leash, user guide, sticker pack, and iSUP repair kit.
