Описание к видео ESV-CE: On The Bible Translation Used in Augustine Institute’s Bible in a Year

When I first heard about this Bible in a Year book for Catholics, I was surprised to learn about a new (English) Bible translation approved for liturgical use by some bishops’ conferences. Finding it impossible to cover both the translation and the content of the program in one video, I have split them into two videos. This first video gives you a bit of the history and philosophy of the translation and finishes with an example of Psalm 23 (22 DR).
