Many similarities are also found in the Swahili language and Sanskrit there. For example, the Sanskrit "Singh" became "Simba" in Swahili. Even today Indian and Persian genes are found in the Swahili people. Their deities such as Mamiwata, Ogun, and Isis resemble our Shiva, Kartikeya, and Kali. These historical and cultural ties link the two civilizations even today.
