Always WANTED a Jaguar XKR, but is the Supercharged V8 X100 XK8 actually any good?

From launch in 1996 I have always loved the Jaguar XK8, it is a car on my ‘must own one day’ bucket list… but I have never driven one, I have never even sat in one! So, when one of my neighbours put their early X100 XKR Convertible up for sale I had to take a look!

What did I think of the XKR? Is it a case of you should never meet your heroes or did experiencing this car make me want one even more? Find out in this video as I take a look at this Jaguar XKR, look back at the car’s history and take the 375bhp supercharged V8 GT XK for a drive.
