Two Alarm Commercial Building Fire Wall Township New Jersey 5/3/24

Monmouth County - Two Alarm - 2125 NJ-35 - Wall Township

Just around 3:00 PM, Wall Township got a report of a building fire on Route 35. Just after the first fire officer arrived he advised of a moderate smoke conidion coming from the commerical structure. Engine 3 was first due and on arrival stretched a 1.3/4 hand line into the building where the fire was. Soon after 3-66 arrived on the scene and transmitted the Second Alarm for the fact it was a commercial building with an attached private dwelling. The fire was quickly knocked down by the first arriving crews, but a heavy smoke condition remained. Two more lines were pulled to help with suppression efforts off E-3. Crews began to vent the structure and shortly after the fire was placed under control. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation. Also, there were no reported injuries.
