2020-12-10 When Mei Calls, Xiao Qi Ji Ambles toward Her!

#PandaStory Day 111: Another big adventure for Xiao Qi Ji started early Thursday evening. Mei Xiang took him out of the den and left him in the cameras' blind spot right in front of the den. She bleated, then went and ate bamboo in the playpen. But he'd had all day to sleep, so he eventually meandered into view, vocalizing along the way. Mei Xiang keeps an eye on him, and bleats her encouragement.

Much later they leave the playpen, and Mei takes him back to the den, and back out to the blind spot (that part is not shown), again leaving him so that she could eat bamboo. Soon we see him ambling back into the den. Awww!
