Ridge entertains Taylor at Forrester Pool & asks who her other man is-Tridge Restoration

Ridge has Taylor over at Forrester Pool for drinks, dinner and swimming. Ridge asks who she has been seeing knowing it is her ex-husband. She is uncomfortable discussing her ex-husband and prefers to spend the evening enjoying Ridge's company.

Storyline background: This pool date is less than 2 weeks after they first made love. Taylor is also seeing ex-husband Blake and Ridge still seeing Brooke. Stephanie is still opposed to Taylor and Ridge together because she wants Eric to be freed up from Brooke.

Scene Analysis: Again the prominence of a door or window in a Tridge scene, and they manage to have a door in a pool scene. Ridge gets drinks from the pool bar that is behind the door. The symbolism of a burning flame in the fireplace in the background, burning candle in the foreground, and a large torch over their shoulder represents passion. The set designer and camera crew did a fine job with the large torch sharing a close up with Ronn Moss at the end and the framing of Hunter's face with Ronn's arm at 2:27. The first 42 seconds of this scene has Bill Bell Sr's stamp with the sophisticated minimum dialogue and old hollywood type soundtrack.
