Synopsis:

Dhananand learns from Amatya Rakshas that Tarini is on fast. He orders that if Tarini will not have food then entire Magadha will starve. Meanwhile, Chandragupta meets Tarini's mother and decides to trust Tarini and give her one more chance. Tarini receives Chandragupta's message. She lies to Dhananand that her mother is sick. Dhananand accompanies her but she cleverly stops him not to meet her mother. She asks Chandragupta to kill as because of her, Mura and Manasa died. Later, Chandragupta reveals to Tarini that Dhananand has killed her father.

தாரிணி உண்ணாவிரதம் இருப்பதை அமத்ய ராக்க்ஷஸிடமிருந்து தனானந்த் அறிந்து கொள்கிறார். தாரிணிக்கு உணவு இல்லை என்றால் மகதமே பட்டினி கிடக்கும் என்று கட்டளையிடுகிறார். இதற்கிடையில், சந்திரகுப்தா தாரிணியின் தாயை சந்தித்து தாரிணியை நம்பி அவளுக்கு இன்னும் ஒரு வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்க முடிவு செய்கிறார். தாரிணி சந்திரகுப்தனின் செய்தியைப் பெறுகிறாள். தன் தாய்க்கு உடம்பு சரியில்லை என்று தனானந்தனிடம் பொய் சொல்கிறாள். தனானந்த் அவளுடன் செல்கிறாள், ஆனால் அவள் தன் தாயை சந்திக்காதபடி புத்திசாலித்தனமாக அவனை தடுக்கிறாள். அவளால் முராவும் மானசாவும் இறந்ததால் சந்திரகுப்தனை கொல்லும்படி அவள் கேட்கிறாள். பின்னர், சந்திரகுப்தன் தாரிணியிடம் தன் தந்தையைக் கொன்றதை தனானந்த் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்.
