The front bag of the Agilite K19 is feature-packed and leads the division in plate carriers with its innovative design. The front of the carrier includes a front zippered pouch that can be used to store your maps or flat papers that you are working without in the field.

The sides of the front bag include the integrated tubes cummerbund and a segment of side padding to keep the tubes or any other equipment from jamming into your side.

On the rear side of the front bag, we see the entire inside of the carrier has a padded breathable material on all body-facing portions.

The shoulder straps have an amazingly simple design where you open the hook and loop cover and then simply adjust the strap. You then just close the cover again and you’re all set. It is advised to also adjust the connection into the front bag for the best fit possible.

The cummerbund includes a cordora portion along with an elastic portion to help the cummerbund move and flex on the body. You simply loosen or tighten the side buckles for different body shapes or clothing configurations. Removing the need to adjust a ton of straps and elastic bands just because you put on a coat.

Pros and Cons!
Pros:
Insane weight distribution – This is the pinnacle of this carrier. You can carry MORE weight and it feels like you have less on because it’s distributed smartly. The comfort of this carrier blows everything else away.

Cummerbund (controversial) – The adjustment and installation make the cummerbund amazing in my eyes. I like being able to just adjust and resize on the fly. I don’t need any stupid elastic cords or other dumb. This method fits me perfectly and is extremely fast at the same time.

Quick disconnects – We see four QDs that work great to help you in whatever situation you may be in. It doesn’t matter if you’re injured or stuck, you have a way to get this carrier off easily and quickly.

Updated version adjustments – Seeing the updated version with the placard support, AMAP III integration changes, and removal of the buckles on the rear bag is a welcome improvement. We see that Agilite is constantly adjusting based on real-world feedback of the carrier in the field.

Cons:
Loss of molle row on the front bag – The new version uses a loop-backed molle row but takes a step backward by only using 3 rows. For some confusing reason, the 3rd row also terminates at the bottom of the carrier, effectively giving you only 2 functional rows of molle unless you want a dangly mess of junk at the bottom of the carrier.

No cable management – For a carrier being used in the field, I’d expect a way to integrate a simple PTT or route my cables in a more organized way with a simple cable loop. Having a way to push excess cords into the plate bag via an access hole or small Velcro segment would be a huge bonus.

Front zippered pocket isn’t that useful – You can put maps in it. That’s about it.
