Disabling Samsung Pay on Samsung Galaxy Active2 Watch - Samsung Pay Pop-Up Issues

I've had my Samsung Galaxy Active2 watch for several years now. Suddenly it began randomly having a Samsung Pay prompt pop up on the watch without warning. This quickly drains the battery and is also annoying, to have the watch constantly buzzing for no reason.

Here is how you disable Samsung Pay and Bixby (and, really, any other app you want) by using your Wearables app on your phone.

For some people this process WILL stop the Samsung Pay pop-ups from happening. For others, the pop-ups will keep happening and you need to take the next step, which is fully installing Samsung Pay to access its settings. It's always best to do this disabling step FIRST before you go on to the much more invasive steps of working through the Samsung Pay app, or, worst case, completely resetting your watch.

Note that in my specific case, simply disabling Samsung Pay did NOT eliminate the pop-ups. So I moved on to the next step of fully installing Samsung Pay on my watch and phone, so that I would gain access to the more explicit commands to stop notifications. I walk through that process here:
