Rohit Soni likes to describes himself as a Visual Harvester. In this episode, he explains how he followed his passion for doodling and converted it into a full-time profession. He shares his journey of how from being a small-town Haryana guy who was an outdoor family person, he got very curious about his brothers' cool assignments, which in turn sowed the seeds for a design career. Although clearing his PMT exams put him in a dilemma, he realised that design was his Ikigai, and thus he pursued it. He shares his experience of being in two very different pedagogical design Institutes of India, NIFT Hyderabad where he did his undergrad and IDC Mumbai where he pursued his Masters.. His passion and zeal for design soon landed him a dream job at Microsoft. But sensing that he was meant for much bigger things, he took a bold decision by quitting it and became a full-time Artpreneur under the brand “Doodle Project”.
