中國禪宗的美國傳人：我每天打坐、種菜，內心平靜 An American Inheritor of Chinese Zen Buddhism

30多年前，漢學家比爾·波特深入終南山，尋訪了山中的30多位隱士，他將這段經歷著書《空谷幽蘭》，轟動一時。人們這才發現，在當代中國，仍有一群人蟄居山林、自耕自食，過着超然物外、精神富足的生活。1月初，一條攝製組在上海見到了這位年過八旬、睿智仁慈的老人。他讓人看到另外一種活法的智慧：做喜愛的工作，清貧，但精神自由。

More than 30 years ago, Bill Porter, a sinologist, went deep into Mt. Zhongnan in China to visit over 30 hermits and wrote his experiences into the book Road to Heaven: Encounters with Chinese Hermits, which caused a sensation. It was until then that people had realized there were still a group of people living in seclusion deep in the mountain and growing food to feed themselves. Although they were poor, they were spiritually abundant. In early January, Bill, in his 80s, gave an interview to Yit. He showed us a different wisdom of life: do what you like, and you may not get wealthy but you have freedom.
