সতীনাথ ভাদুড়ী বাংলা সাহিত্যের এক অনন্য লেখক। ওনার লেখা গল্পগুলি একটা বিশেষ সময়ের দলিল। যা শুধু বাংলার মানুষ নয় বরং বিহারের প্রান্তিক মানুষ তাঁদের জীবনযাপন, বর্ণাশ্রম প্রথার অদ্ভুত ব্যাবহার,অন্তঃপুরের মেয়েদের অবস্থা ইত্যাদি এক অপরূপ ছবি এঁকে গেছেন।
চরণদাস এম,এল,এ একটি অসাধারণ গল্প, এক জন প্রতিনিধির গল্প , যে আবার ভোট এসে যাবার ফলে নতুন করে জিতে আসার জন্য ভোটের স্থানীয় মুল সমস্যা খুঁজে বেড়াচ্ছে এবং নিজেকে জনগণের একজন করে তোলার নানান প্রয়াসের মাধ্যমে সে আসলে সেই ধার্মিক কারণকেই নিজের মুখ্য উদ্দেশ্য হিসেবে বের করছে। সুনিপুণ ভাবে এই পুরো প্রক্রিয়াকে সতীনাথ ভাদুড়ী এক অসাধারন লেখনির মাধ্যামে নিয়ে এসেছেন।

Satinath Bhaduri is one of the poignant writers of the Bengali literature. His written stories are the documents of a specific time. This not only reveals the people of Bengal but also the oppressed people of Bihar their lifestyle, the effect of religious disparity, the conditions of women who lived inside, and so on sketching a beautiful picture of it.
Charandas MLA is quite an interesting story. The protagonist is a people representative. The vote is near again and the people representative is searching for local important issues which could help him to win again for that he is concentrating on relationships and ultimately finds the same issue on religion and representing the main head of it. The author with his intricate writing exposes the idea and concept of the psyche. It opens up the complexities of human relationships and their intricate behavior.
