How to change Daytime Running Lights on VW T5 Transporter.
The VW T5 daytime running lights are on all the time the ignition is on and go off when you put on your sidelights or headlights. The VW T5 Daytime running bulbs are 12V21W each so that's 42W of power being used with the ignition on and the engine not running. Personally I don't like them.
In this VW T5 Bulb video I will show you how to remove the bulb and replace with a new bulb, ideally use an LED Canbus technology equivalent bulb as this will take much less power from your battery. It must have Canbus otherwise the computer thinks the bulbs have failed as they draw much less power! LED bulbs should last longer but are so much more expensive.
