A TRIBUTE TO BILLY BOSTON MBE – THREE STATUES

This video features the song 'Three Statues', written by Mike Johnson in collaboration with Tanglewood. The song was commissioned from an original idea of Malcolm Charnley to pay tribute to a rugby league legend, Billy Boston.

The video and soundtrack have been arranged and performed by Malcolm and Cynthia Charnley of Tanglewood (M&C) Music and pay tribute to Billy who was regarded as one of the best known Wigan RLFC players and one of rugby league's greatest ever players.

The video refers to the three statues that have been constructed featuring Billy Boston. Namely: Statue 1: Wembley Stadium, London Statue 2: Believe Square Park, Wigan Statue 3: Landsea Square, Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay
