Spain has gone through a turbulent on-off relationship with national finals, to say the least. After switching back and forth between televised shows and internal selections in the 1960s and early 70s, they did not host a single NF between 1977 and 1999. After the turn of the millenium, RTVE mostly relied on public selections again. With this video, I want to give you a quick recap of all the songs Spain almost voted onto the Eurovision stage!
