This homemade finger licking Prawn Balchão Recipe is so delicious. It is a pickle which gets better in taste as it matures after 2-3 weeks but because of its sweet, tangy, spicy and loaded with flavour taste it is irresistible and one feels like eating it straight away. Try out my step by step guide and you will be definitely pleased with the outcome. You can adjust the sweetness and tangness as per your liking by simply adding more vinegar and or sugar. Kindly note that this recipe does not use any water.

Ingredients:
1.2 kg Cleaned King Prawns
1 tsp Salt or as desired
1/2 Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder

Ingredients for the Spice Mix:
35 kashmiri Chillies
1ntsp Black Peppercorns
1.5 inch Ginger
15 Large Garlic Cloves
2 inch Cinnamon Sticks
2 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tsp Turmeric Powder
25 Cloves
2 1/4 cup White Vinegar or as desired
1 1/4 cup Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
2 Green Chillies Sliced
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Ginger Paste
10 Curry leaves
400g Onions Chopped
6 tbsp Sugar or as desired
