Florida State won its fifth straight game with a 45-38 victory over in-state rival Florida. The Seminoles improved to 9-3 on the season and swept the other 'Big 3' Florida schools for the 11th time since 1993. FSU posted its seventh straight 200-yard rushing game, tying a school record and producing the longest streak in the nation in 2022. Running back Trey Benson scored a career-high three rushing touchdowns and registered his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season while quarterback Jordan Travis accounted for 353 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. The defense held UF scoreless in the third quarter, forcing three consecutive three-and-outs to start the second half, and allowed only 47 passing yards after halftime.
