Woodturning - Christmas Rain Drop

Get ready to be amazed by our latest DIY project video! In this episode, I take you on a journey of transforming a simple piece of burl wood into a breath-taking Christmas table ornament using the magic of epoxy resin.
To start off, with the help of white resin, I brought the snow effect to life by colouring the burl. Then added an extra touch of festive cheer by gluing adorable little figures like Santa Claus and snowman on top of the burl.
Next came the exciting part - casting it all in epoxy resin.
Once it was turned into the desired shape, I meticulously sanded it to high grit levels for that ultra-smooth finish.
Finally, with one last touch - a final polish – the prject transformed into an enchanting glass lookalike masterpiece that would be perfect as a centrepiece on any Christmas table.
