Marzipan sweets are a popular Goan Sweet made especially during Christmas. It is a cashew nut or almond based confection that is moulded into colorful delicious sweets. Since these sweets are rich, they are served in smaller portions. Will be sharing a few more versions of this recipe in the future.

Marzipan can also be used to make Easter eggs, cover cakes (especially rich fruit cakes), make cake toppers, marzipan chocolates, marzipan fruits, etc.

Ingredients:
200 g unsalted cashew nuts
300 - 400 g sugar (Refer tips)
Icing/powdered sugar for dusting
1/4 cup rose water/water
1 egg white
1/8 tsp (5-6 drops) almond essence/extract
