Godzilla, King of the Monsters, is maybe the most formidable monster in all of cinema. Starting with the original Gojira in 1954, Godzilla went on to fight countless kaiju in his unending quest to become king. There have been lots of ups and downs throughout the Godzilla movies, from american remakes like Godzilla 1998 and Godzilla 2014, where we first met the Monsterverse Godzilla, to Shin Godzilla and the anime Godzilla Planet of Monsters, or Godzilla Monster Planet, no matter what incarnation of Godzilla you meet, odds are the kill count will be high, except for the big G himself.

The answer to the question of how to kill Godzilla has plagued humanity for sixty years, and the death of Godzilla doesn’t come easy. However, there have been a few occasions where Godzilla indeed dies. We have yet to see what the Monsterverse Godzilla has in store for us in the upcoming Godzilla King of the Monsters trailer, or Godzilla 2 trailer, every Godzilla clip and Godzilla scene we’ve seen thus far has shown this version of the great beast to be even bigger and badder than before. This one seem to be on humanity’s side, but if he ever goes rogue, NowThis Nerd Kya will be here to put an end to him.
