How do I get better at moguls skiing?
Since this is our big muscle, it's easy to kind of use our hips to make our tails come around, and we do not want to do that, right? We want to have nice shin pressure and be balanced on the ball of our foot so that the pressure is in the tip of the ski, and it's going to be designed to turn, okay? And we're going to be on edge and release then onto the new edge, but we're forward. We're not gonna push this downhill, right? It's going to stay under us and come around, so our body shaping is the hip goes up into the hill, not down the hill. Do you see the difference, alright? So knees bent, think of that body shaping.

One thing that I noticed, I mean I've got a lot of really good body position, but I'm noticing like you and Tom want to really pin your feet together. And if your feet are pinned together, I can push you over pretty easily. If you get your feet apart, you now have a solid foundation harder for me to push you over, and then let your ski just tip on edge. So this knee, this knee is rolling to let that little pinky toe touch the snow, right? So it's rolling out, and the other ski follows. Get your feet apart, get your feet apart, shoulder width apart, yeah? And then your knees come together, yeah, big difference. And then we roll this way. So when my feet are pinned here, it's way easier for me to use my hips to get the ski to turn, alright? So we're going to think of that just feet apart. I like seeing our knees touch, you know, they kind of come together and kiss, then in the and then they roll in the other direction, alright? Really trying to let our feet and knees work as one.

The other thing that we've been noticing a lot with the World Cup skiing this year is really having our chest open and looking down the fall line. So we're going to take our pole straps off, and we're going to take one pole behind our arms like so, and the other one in front, okay? Yeah. And we're going to keep our knuckles facing down the fall line. Don't let your pole drop, but what this should feel is what it's like to have our shoulders back, okay? And we're going to try and make some short-radius turns again, don't let your feet pin together, really trying to keep my zipper down the fall line, quiet upper body, but it helps me pull my shoulders back.
