Some more 90's Eurodance, anyone? This might in fact be one of the most important and genre-defining songs from that era: WHAT IS LOVE by Trinidadian-German singer HADDAWAY. This song was released in 1993 as the first single from his debut album THE ALBUM. It instantly became his most successful hit, reaching number one in thirteen countries and topping the Austrian charts for incredible nine weeks. Besides being featured in several movies and TV shows, it also got sampled for the track NO LOVE by EMINEM feat. LIL WAYNE (and if you care for Rap music in only the slightest way, you HAVE to check out that one as well!). Fun fact: The iconic female vocals in this song are actually stock samples from a Zero-G sample CD.
