Mia Morris – fu2 (official video)

So, fun fact: I’m listening to my computer try to render this video right now like it has been for a couple of hours. It may or may not come across when you watch this strange creation but it had more pieces of media, by almost 10x, to put together than any other music video we’ve made so far. I’m certain we would never have thought of, or had any idea of how to create this video had it not been for the years of making all of the, “multi-mia” videos back in the day. The problem with that is, the ideas get unruly when we know how to do just enough to make most anything seem reasonable.

In case this is the first song of mine you’ve heard, I want you to understand that I mean, fu2 in the sweetest possible way. I’m a big fan of music that makes me smile and takes me somewhere new. I truly believe this song qualifies. I co-wrote fu2 with an artist out of New York named AJ Smith. AJ & I met when he was here in Nashville down on Music Row. I played every track on the recording and produced and mixed it on my laptop in the usual corner of my basement.

This and all my other songs can be found on any of the other streaming platforms. I get asked about CD’s from time to time but at this point, I only have plans to release songs digitally. I’ve got lots more to come so thank you very much for all of your interest and support. I’m 16 years old and I want to be a music professional when I grow up. I try to play lots of instruments but the one that I feel most at home on is a drum set. I would say the only thing that impresses me more than a great musician is a great songwriter so I also spend a lot of my time writing and recording. I thought it would help me keep focused on music if I started a drum series where I learned a new song every couple of weeks. After 6 years, it’s now turned into a larger musical pursuit but my goal hasn’t changed. Hopefully, I will keep doing music, keep loving it and keep getting better.
