Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow Walkthrough Part 3: Crimson Flood

Upon recovering the courier files from the wreck of Mt. St. Helens, Gabe has them analyzed for any information on Lian's whereabouts with his investigation revealing that the photos in the files, including the one depicting Lian and her mysterious male companion, were taken accidentally by British MI6 near Russian-Azerbaijani border as they are trying to curb the smuggling activities spurned on by the ongoing border skirmish in the region with analysis of the photo also revealing that Cordell's version of the photo was cropped to hide the fact that Lian and her companion were held on gunpoint when it was taken and that, while Lian was identified by face recognition software, her companion's identity remains a mystery. With two having apparently spent three days in an hotel located in the town of Kuranca, Azerbaijan, Gabe is sent into the area in order to find them and discover what is happening, intending to recruit MI6 agent Maggie Powers to assist him as she has been deployed in the area. However, upon arriving to Kuranca, Gabe quickly discovers that Spetsnaz troops led by Kudrenko have occupied the town and are conducting genocide against its population with Maggie nowhere to be found as she has likely been captured by Russians. Realizing that they are likely following the trail of mysterious cargo from Mt. St. Helens, Gabe proceeds to make his way through war-torn town in order to find Lian and her companion before they end up caught in the chaos. After eventually assisting the local resistance by destroying Russian APC, Gabe is shown the location of the hotel where Lian and her companion were staying. Upon entering it and reaching Lian's room, he finds it empty. As he continues to search it, he overhears someone approaching and takes cover behind the door, allowing him to get a drop on the mysterious Chinese operative named Trinidad. Aware that she isn't working for the Kudrenko or al-Bitar, Gabe briefly interrogates her, discovering that she isn't looking for Lian but rather for her companion, who is revealed to be named Shen with two ending up fighting their way through severely damaged hotel building as it is attacked by Spetsnaz troops, eventually being forced to jump off its rooftop after nearly ending up cornered by the Russians. Resurfacing in the canal below the building, Gabe discovers that Trinidad has vanished and proceeds to make his way towards Spetsnaz's local operations center established in an local church. Once there, he discovers that Russians have captured and are interrogating Maggie Powers, not believing that she is monitoring local smugglers. After eliminating the interrogators, Gabe discovers that Maggie was held hostage for approximately two days before they are attacked by Russian gunship which they manage to shoot down. However, immediately afterwards, Kudrenko enters the room flanked by two soldiers with the group knocking Gabe out and recapturing Maggie...

NOTE: The reason i restarted the second part of this episode (the one where Gabe meets Trinidad) is because the door that should've opened in the hallway during the first shootout, allowing me to progress further into the level haven't opened. As you can see, it was fixed by simply restarting the level which leads me to believe that this was a small in-game bug rather than emulator issue. Regardless, enjoy the gameplay.
