It is clear that the ED209 is well designed to decisively deal with irresponsible corporate executives and uzi-toting criminals, but insofar as a police officer’s day-to-day duty goes -in interacting with the public, dealing with the more mundane domestic disturbances, citing minor infractions- the job should not predominantly call for heavy caliber machine guns.
