Tatty's Lombok Vlog 2023!

Our 4 days 3 nights trip to Lombok!

Location:
- We stayed at Royal Avila Boutique Resort, Senggigi. Our room was the Ocean Suite.
- Senggigi is closer to Gili Islands, took around 10-15 mins car ride from our hotel to get to the boat area.

Currency/Cash:
- Majority of the restaurants we went to accepts card. But it's best to carry cash as well to pay for the driver, boat ride and hike to waterfalls, and to tip the local workers.
- Make sure to call your bank to activate your card for international usage before your flight
- Plenty of ATMs by the road

Activities:
- We focused on exploring the nature, hence the waterfalls and the island hopping.
- But, depending on your plan, there's still a lot more to do and explore in Lombok, like the Sasak Village, the cafes, the race track etc. We'll try to cover in our next trip this year!
- they're famous for their pearls and mosques BTW.

Food:
- You can find halal food everywhere because the majority of the locals are muslims.
- Their sambal is super spicy, so be mindful of it when you're trying their food
- Their signature meal is Ayam Bakar Taliwang & Nasi Balap Puyung
- They have grabfood too, but not much choices.

Essentials:
- Bring your own covid test (if u ever need one) because they dont have it there
- Can buy shampoo / ramen etc from AlfaMart, its like 7E there.
- they have Guardian there at the Epicentrum Mall if you need anything / any brands that you can find in malaysia
