This week, we will be learning how to play the bass line to ’Kon Queso’ by MF DOOM (I know I called it Yee Haw in the video, I heard the single first and I often forget its name on the album, #MMFood . Easily one of my favorite DOOM songs, he goes bananas on this joint. This lesson is essentially an extension of Riff 120: descending root - 5th - octave pattern from D to Eb. A real simple, groovy riff with a technique that you’ll be sure to use many times as a bass player. Make sure you groove with the drums and protect the pocket! @mfdoom
