Christmas Treats You Can Make With Your Kids || Gingerbread Cookies || Infinity Platter || 2021

I'm starting this Christmas with gingerbread cookies which you can make with your kids! Making sweet treats with your kids during Christmas is so much fun!
Here is the recipe....

Ginger bread cookies

Ingredients-
226g Brown Sugar
113g Unsalted Butter
1 Egg
240g All Purpose Flour
2 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder
1/4 tsp Clove Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions-
In a stand mixer, best butter snd powdered brown sugar for a few minutes until light and fluffy
Add egg and beat for 30 seconds
In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients
Add this to the stand mixer and beat for 20 seconds until the mixture just comes together
Divide the dough into 2 parts, pat down, cling wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour
Preheat the oven to 175c
After an hour, roll the dough into 1/4 inch thickness
Cut into desired shapes and bake on the oven for 10-12 minutes
Cool for a few minutes and decorate with icing as you wish
