Harassing politicians on the internet
Armed protests in front of their homes
Remind them they are still made of flesh and bone

This day means celebrating revolt
We were never meant to be controlled
They should be careful where they tread
Make them fear the people once again
Make America defiant again

Don't sit back and get wasted on beer
Ensuring politicians have nothing to fear
They rely on your ignorance and routine
They have forgotten to fear the guillotine

They've turned this day into a marketing scheme
A watered down version of what it used to mean
It doesn't mean draping yourself in the flag
It means taking back the freedom we used to have

Politicians have forgotten their place
Servants to the people that can be erased
Rise up and reclaim your duty to defend
Make the heads of tyrants roll again
