We take the OSE express train from Thessaloniki to Athens. The first-class seats are in 4-seat compartments with plenty of space, nice A/C, and overhead space for luggage. The train ride to Athens was 4 hours and 15 mins with only a few stops along the way. Each ticket was €52 for first-class tickets.
