I know what you're thinking…

"Why doesn't Mastodon open every show with Ol'e Nessie?"

Alas, one time, in a far and distant land called New Haven they opened up for Clutch with that very tune. I hadn't heard a lick of Mastodon before this show, but from the moment they started playing I knew I'd be a fan for life.

The sound on this is a bit all over the place, but still enjoyable. Bill's guitar comes through loud and clear but Troy's bass pretty much annihilated my microphone so the sound is really distorted at times. Vocals you might be able to make out if you strain but don't hold your breath.
