Whatever happened to the Caroline Haymaker drive?

A popular....(well, critically acclaimed at least?)..or maybe more accurately, a really well liked pedal by artists ranging from Kyle and James in All Get Out to Patterson Hood of Drive By Truckers, Haymakers were made by us from 2014-2018. These hand-wired drives were meant to be rough and tumble, wide ranging devices that could be dialed to almost anything with a limited control set. So why'd we move on from making them?

We thought this would be the last overdrive pedal you'd ever need, the last one we'd ever have to make, and thankfully, we were wrong about that. And like almost any creative endeavor you strive to put out into the world, you have to care, but you can't control what happens in the marketplace. You graciously accept the win or shake off the loss, and move on with what you've learned. And they're still cool!

We have two of these in limited colorways that we refurbished - the black and gold that was exclusive to close friends and overseas retailers, and the sand color that was exclusive to a dealer in the UK.
