Today, we're sharing Master Kim Hee-soon's recipe for Baram-tteok, also known as Gaepi-tteok.
This traditional Korean rice cake gets its two names from its unique characteristics - 'Baram' (wind) for its hollow center and 'Gaepi' for its thin wrapping.
[Ingredients]

Non-glutinous rice flour 300g
Salt 3g
Sweet red bean paste 150g
Sesame oil for finishing

[Instructions]

Mix rice flour and salt with hot water to make dough
Knead until smooth
Roll out thinly into circles
Place red bean filling and fold in half
Shape using traditional mold
Brush with sesame oil to finish
