Upon being flung from the mysterious gate, Crono finds himself in a land that, in some way, seems strangely familiar. The nearby townsfolk seem to know nothing of a "Millennial Fair" and instead are gossiping about the recovery of Queen Leene, the wife of king Guardia XXII, far in the mountains. With few other leads to follow, Crono sets out to Guardia Castle to see if "Leene" could hint to the whereabouts of the missing Marle.

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
