Retro Video Game Footage

Retro Video Game Footage (RVGF) is a channel dedicated to, well, just what you'd expect: recording video of older games running on their original hardware.

While many classic games are widely available thanks to porting, emulation, and other means, these releases can create a different impression of a game's quality as nuances inherent to the original hardware can be lost. Transparencies, color blending, aliasing, sound queues, and even gameplay can be altered; so the footage posted here tries to preserve as many of these original features as possible while also maintaining visual quality.

Feel free to use this footage for purposes such as critiques, reviews, retrospectives, etc. Videos are organized to facilitate an easier search for specific moments of a game.
