When Eluding the Police Goes Horribly Wrong

On March 24, 2024, officers respond to a call for backup
after a reckless driver eludes police, escaping into their
home. Police attempt to hand over the driver's citations while in the house and to inform her that they will be towing her car. After leaving the house to confront police of the tow, one officer pursues the suspect and tases her just before she enters the home. Officers detain the suspect.

She is charged with:
FLEEING & ELUDING A LEO
OBSTRUCTING OR RESISTING OFFICER WITHOUT VIOLENCE
OPERATING AN UNREGISTERED VEHICLE
TAG NOT ASSIGNED
FELONIOUS POSSESSION OF FIREARM
RESISTING AN OFFICER W/OUT VIOLENCE

She plead guilty to all charges in July of 2024.
