Today I am sharing winter special
traditional tasty and nutritious
Aliv(Halim) or Garden Cress Kheer
recipe.
For that we are preparing kheer premix
so that we can prepare aliv kheer any time
just in 5-7 minutes.

It is delicious and very much
healthy during winter season
and for ladies after delivary
so try it..

Ingredients:

For Kheer premix
--------------------------------

. 3/4 cup Aliv (Halim)
Garden cress

. 1/2 cup wheat flour



For Kheer
------------------

. 2 - 3 tbsp Kheer premix

. 3 cup milk

. 3- 4 tbsp sugar
(As per taste)

. Almond slices

. Pinch of green cardamom powder

Method:
=======

For Kheer Premix
-------------------------------

. Roast aliv for 7-8 minutes on low
flame.and keep aside.

. Roast wheat flour on low flame
till turns light brown.
and keep aside.

. Grind roasted aliv(Halim) for
fine powder in mixture .

. Transfer it in big bowl.

. Add roasted wheat flour and mix it
properly.

. Kheer premix is ready.
store it in dry airtight container for
25-30 days and prepare kheer
just in 5 minutes whenever want
to eat.


For Kheer
-----------------

. Heat milk in a pan,add sugar,almond slices
and cardamom powder.

. When milk starts boiling,add kheer premix
step by step in it.

. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.

. Check for desired consistency.

. Allow to cook kheer for 1-2 minutes.

. Aliv (Halim) kheer is ready .

. Serv hot by pouring pure ghee.

Tip:

. If You want to add jaggery in kheer
just prepare kheer without sugar
and switch off flame.
Then add grated jaggery to this ready
kheer ,stir it properly and then serv it.

. If you addd jaggery in boiling milk
kheer will spoil.
