Nandikrita Shiva Stuti (नन्दीकृता शिवस्तुतिः) is one of the most divine and rare hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva, composed by His most devoted follower — Nandi Deva.
Each verse is a heartfelt praise describing Shiva’s transcendental form — His blue throat (Neelakantha), the crescent moon on His head, the river Ganga flowing through His locks, and His cosmic dance with Goddess Parvati.
Chanting this Stuti removes fear, ego, and illusion, filling one’s heart with peace, devotion, and Shiva consciousness.
🌺 Full English Translation
14. I bow to the blue-throated Lord, whose feet are adored even by Vishnu, whose crown holds the radiant crescent moon, and who is united with His divine consort — half of His own form.
15. I worship Him whose matted hair holds the sacred Ganga, whose body shines like pure camphor and lightning, who dances surrounded by celestial beings, ever with Bhavani by His side.
16. I praise the three-eyed Lord, father of Ganesha, whose glance protects devotees, whose hands are graceful, and whose crown glows with immortal light.
17. I worship Maheshwara, Lord of all — clothed in an elephant’s hide, pure consciousness personified, unattached, the beloved of Parvati, and adored by all creation.
18. I bow to the Supreme Shiva — beyond all desires, rejoicing in His own blissful self, the highest of the divine, the embodiment of sacred ash, beyond worldly senses.
🌕 He who recites this hymn with faith and surrender attains the blessings of Mahadev — peace, strength, wisdom, and liberation.
