Donkeys are different from horses in so many ways!

Описание к видео Donkeys are different from horses in so many ways!

Donkeys are wonderful creatures, entertaining and in need of social relationships. They love being with other donkeys and manage the best when they have donkey companions. If one is blind, they will connect with a seeing donkey who will guide them. They are quite emotional, even shedding tears at times, but soundlessly. They are much more emotional than horses. They are also stronger than horses of the same size. Donkeys have been known to live into their 50s.
A donkey's bray can carry up to 60 miles (approx. 96 kilometres). Another donkey can hear the call from that distance.
Unlike horses, which tend to have semi-waterproof hair, donkeys' fur is not waterproof, so they don't like being left in the rain.
Donkeys' digestive systems are really efficient, so they can digest/use about 95% of what they eat.
These are just some of the interesting characteristics of donkeys -- and there is so much more to discover about them.
