Our goal is to increase

in the mix. Ideally we want
to make it brighter and
if possible reduce the
printed reverb.

Distortion and compression
would normally increase the
room but oddly enough the
fuzz manages to create a
new color above all the chaos
that actually sounds drier.

The bad thing is that,
like all fuzzes, it also changes
the tone drastically.

In a moment we will see how
this is actually good for our
purposes.

Keeping the output around
unity will also facilitate
our last steps.

The last step is to process
in parallel so we are going to
use TONE and SUSTAIN to find
the color we want to ADD
to the original track.

The contrast between
the fuzz tone and the original
track combined and controlled
by MIX provide a wide variety
of usable settings including
some that fit our original
goals, let's listen.
