In today’s video, we will talk about something many people wonder about: the new supply in a narcissistic relationship. This new supply often receives everything that you did not get. They experience exceptional treatment from the narcissist. The narcissist showers them with love and affection, gives them gifts, and takes them on trips—things that you may have been promised but never received.

Now, you might be asking yourself, "What does this new person have that I don’t?" It's natural to feel confused and hurt. Why is this newcomer getting what was withheld from you? In this video, I will explain how the new supply is treated by a narcissist and why this dynamic exists.

First, I want to clarify something important: the new supply is rarely truly new. They are often "new to you." This means that the narcissist has likely known this person for a while. They might have met in high school, college, or even at work. If this new supply has only been around for a short time, such as a year or less, it’s possible that the narcissist has been keeping them on the sidelines, ready to step in when needed.

Regardless of the situation, this new supply has usually been involved in some way for several months. If the narcissist believes they have the upper hand, they have had time to evaluate this new person. Every new supply undergoes a sort of testing phase where the narcissist determines what kind of supply they can provide and what benefits they might offer.

In rare cases, a narcissist may find themselves in a position where they need to scramble to find new supply. However, they typically try to avoid this situation at all costs. Once the narcissist decides that this new person can fulfill their needs, the attention will gradually shift from you to them. You might look back and realize that in the months leading up to your breakup—or even before you chose to leave—communication with the narcissist became almost nonexistent. This lack of communication is often a sign that the narcissist is busy love bombing their new source of supply.

Not all narcissists love bombs in the same way; some do it less effectively than others. However, during the initial phase, which can last from three to six months, the narcissist typically puts on a grand display of affection. This is often when you will notice that the new supply is receiving certain things that you were not given.
