There was drama in Parliament this evening as Tororo county MP Geofrey Ekanya attempted to self- harm over the government’s failure to give his county a district status

Ekanya who was contributing to the motion to create 22 district was rescued by his fellow opposition MPs as he tightened the tie round his neck. The shadow Minister for Finance went ahead to attempt to undress after the Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah described his actions as unbecoming of a Member of Parliament.
