Our aging support ships are in serious need of replacing. So let us design the new Magdeburg class of ships. Not much larger than the existing ships, but more expensive and hopefully far more effective. While we are at it, we will also refit the existing ships to convert to minelayer duty (these should also prove better than what we currently have).
