INGREDIENTS

FOR THE MARINATION

chicken 1kg

garlic 6nos big

mint leafs
fennel seed powder 1 tsp
garam masala powder 3/4 tsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
lemon juice 3/4 tbs
salt


FOR THE GOLDEN ONIONS

onion 1 big
raisins 10 to 15 nos
cashew nuts 10
oil for frying 1 cup

FOR RICE

kayama /jeeragashala rice 4 ad1/2 cup {1 cup -240 ml}
cardamom 6 nos
cinnamon stick 1 small
clove 5 nos

At the time of layering

lemon juice 1 tbsp.
garam masala 1 tsp
oil or ghee as needed.
