Seething Bazelgeuse Vs. Hunting Horn - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - 紅蓮滾るバゼルギウス 狩猟笛 ソロ【MHWI】

This run is currently the World Record for Freestyle against Seething Bazelgeuse with Hunting Horn.

At first I beat the quest in 4:39:22 while I was just trying to get a Seething video out. Then a friend pointed out to me that I accidentally got the world record, albeit a very tight one. The now previous WR was 4:39:66 from 4 years ago.

So I decided to push further and try to widen the gap.
While I'm using up to date gear, the run I beat was a run with a palico, mantles, a pitfall trap, AND they captured it ; that last one being the most important, and somehow I beat it by ten seconds.

Anyways, initially I wanted to record this because I wanted to see how exactly is Seething Bazel in Iceborne after slaying numerous ones in Sunbreak.

It's definitely not Sunbreak Seething, which added just so much to make it different than Bazelgeuse, but it's still alright. My memories of the IB fight were foggy and now I see in the end it's not that bad.

Sunbreak just did so much justice to these World fights and Seething was one of the big winners.

I don't think I've ever written my actual thoughts on Bazelgeuse, the monster itself, as a whole. To me Bazel feels like one of the very few truly unique fights that World had to offer. It's still crazy to think an actual bombardier Monster is in the series now, and yet it's anatomy and ecology still manage to make some sense.

It's a matchup I love with Hunting Horn, Bazelgeuse always had this gigantic head weakspot just screaming to get destroyed by Hammer or Hunting Horn, and since HH runs are still scarce on my channel due to my lack of appreciation for the weapon in Sunbreak, I decided to do an IB video with this weapon again.
