An auspicious composition which includes various Naamas from the Lalitha Sahasranama, every word is precious in this Kriti.
This Kriti is so aptly set in Kalyani (Nithya kalyani - ever auspicious one ).
Praising Balambikam The Goddess at Vaideeswarankoil,The mother of the universe, who is like Kalpaka latikam ( wish fulfilling creeper ) granting happiness, prosperity and Good health to all.
In this Composition Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar does Sangeetharchana to the one who is the swaroopa of the Chaturvedas, the one who resides in the heart of Vaidhyanatha Swami (Vaidhyapati Hridaya Viharini ).
She revels in Bhava and Raga and blesses the devotee who is adept at Sangeetha.

To me this kriti has been an all time favourite especially in MS Amma's voice. This was an unplanned spontaneous recording at the sannidhi of Balambikam at Ziva retirement home's beautiful temple.
