Remnant 2 - Hardcore Veteran Annihilation - Engineer/Summoner

I'm almost ashamed to upload such a terribly sloppy Annihilation kill but unfortunately I only got one attempt. Facetanking for days.

Veteran hardcore wasn't as hard as I thought, the trick is to start as Engineer, immediately buy the Black Cat Band and Bright Steel Ring from vendors and then grab Leto armour from the labyrinth when you get there. Reroll your campaign until you get Ravager first world so you can get Soul Guard from the blood moon altar and have a decent chance at Soul Link (random zone drop). Plus with ravager you don't even have to fight your first world boss if you shoot the doe in the head. PLUS from the water harp 2nd song you get Song of Aefir which is a very handy mod, especially for Annihilation's orb phase. So not a lot of loot RNG involved.

I didn't show advanced stats but I was at 72.8% total DR (59.4% from armour, 18% from bulwark, 15% from standing next to turret) with 3 summons up. Turret lifesteal is also very nice.

Two bits of the run were sketchy, one was labyrinth cubes (just practice practice practice) and the other was Venom AoE - the only time my Black Cat triggered I believe. Total run time was 4 hours 10 mins according to the character select screen.

GG now I'm going to go and play Baldur's Gate.
