There was one move that he didn't do on this attempt, where he holds his lance in the air and does ground aoe under you. I found you just have to dash sideways on torrent at the right time to avoid it, but it's tricky to get the timing right.
Also the hop-dash attack in phase 2, I don't know a reliable way to dodge it on torrent. If he's close to you you might be able to double jump it.
Otherwise, everything is else is manageable on torrent.

Is this the best strategy? No idea, but it worked for me.
